Manchester City appears to be going through a golden period inside and outside the green rectangle, after their Premier League and Champions League results.
After the Citizens "6-3 victory over Manchester United in the city derby, Premier League champions Manchester City topped the list of the 10 most expensive clubs in the world in terms of marketing value, according to the report published by the global website Transport Market.
According to recent updates, Manchester City's marketing value has reached Euro1 billion and Euro110 million, becoming the only club to cross the 1 billion euro mark.
Manchester City overtake Liverpool FC, which is second on the list of the world's most expensive clubs with a marketing value of 925 million euros, followed by French club Paris Saint-Germain in third place with 890 million euros.
The Premier League teams dominated the top 10 teams' list.
The Real Madrid team was only ranked sixth in the list of the world's 10 most expensive clubs at the level of marketing value, with 876 million euros, while the other Spanish football mogul FC Barcelona came off the list, with a marketing value of 814 million euros. It included two teams from Spain and one from Germany and France.
The market value of the world's first 10 teams was about 9 billion euros, namely:
